That's my take. I'm cool with 9.5 average for 4 years or less, or 5 years with a team option. More than that, and it's one of those contracts that we'll look back upon with disdain..

Most of the Draft posts that I've seen are assuming that Tyreke will be here, and they are wondering how such and such player would mesh with Tyreke. Let's pretend for a moment that the new front office has no interest whatsoever in Tyreke, and that they aren't going to match some other teams...

Why would anybody pay this guy 12 million a year ? Based on what ? His rookie season and his potential ? He was in a bad system, etc, etc,.... Please. We know what Tyreke is, and what he isn't. So does the rest of the league. Nobody is giving him 12 million, and if somebody is stupid enough...

I don't mind keeping him at 8.5 million per year, for 4 or less years. Anything more than that and let him go.
