Is Quincy Acy injured or has Derek Fisher just decided to bench him in favor of playing Carmelo at the 4
I watched the game they did not say anything during the telecast and it's strange cause he had a 8,8 ,3 steal , 3 assist game against Denver maybe cause Shumpert is back for this game they are playing more small ball with Melo at the 4 rather than the 3. I thought at least he played well against Denver and the Bucks had plenty of match up's for him in particular on the stretch 4 Illyasova, Quincy shut out Channing Frye when he was on him during the Magic game and Ersan abused Amare/Melo/Smith.

I found this on Knicks Daily in regards to the game

Some Low-lights…
New York lost the rebounding game 44-28. Someone has to rebound if Derek Fisher randomly benches the only guy who wants to rebound (Quincy Acy).
Must have been benched I guess

What do ya know...the Bucks are 7-5...they play hard got to hand it to them
My least likely prediction that they would make the playoffs in the East might actually come true (the Sessions prediction on the other hand..................................), The thing a lot of people overlook with the Bucks is they can all literally play solid basketball (who would you consider crap on there team? There's not many of them they are all somewhat capable) and in the East you don't really need a All-Star to make the playoffs.

Agree and voted 76ers - although it was about 50-50 at time I cast. Surely even horrible, currently racked with injury 76ers would wear down, thrash any NCAA college basketball team - even this current loaded Kentucky crew.
I'm not so sure. This Philly team is pretty lacking in talent, and very young. The average age of this team (not counting the out-for-the-season JRich or Embiid) is 23.1 years old. They've only got three guys playing that were even drafted in the first round (MCW, Noel, and Wroten) and two of those guys are coming off of injury. They have an incredible nine (9!!) undrafted players that have gotten minutes this year. These guys are incredibly raw - of these nine undrafted guys only one has more than two years in the league (not counting this year), and that's Malcolm Thomas, who hadn't gotten up to 150 NBA minutes before he stepped on the court for the Sixers this year. These undrafted, untested guys have accounted for FIFTY-THREE PERCENT of the Sixers' minutes thus far this year.

On the other hand, Kentucky is running a ten-man rotation with at least 8 guys that are shoe-ins to be drafted: An. Harrison, Aa. Harrison, Lyles, Poythress, Cauley-Stein, Towns, D. Johnson, M. Lee. Most of these guys are borderline first-rounders at worst, and Cauley-Stein and Poythress are juniors while only Towns (in contention for #1 overall) and Lyles are freshmen. And the team looks fantastic. They're playing great D and they've got offensive threats all over the court.

Kentucky against a real NBA team? Sure, they get crushed. But these Sixers are a completely different element altogether. Their margin of victory is currently -16.36, which is the single worst MOV in NBA history. Only 17 teams have ever broken the -10 MOV barrier (including last year's 76ers), and only three other teams have broken -12. They are on track to be the single worst NBA team in the history of the NBA.

I would bet on Kentucky. Seriously.

I dislike Philly and their current organization. They are trying to lose for a reason.. they have a loser mentality every game. Hell, we might as well just send the entire team to the DL. They have a good player in KJ McDaniels who would probably be a front runner in ROY, but they don't give him many touches... I guess they think the other garbage players on their roster is better.. or they feel like he might increase their W chances. There's a reason why he signed a one year deal, and it wasn't because he wants more money...

Here's a tweet from KJ McDaniel's mom
MY SON WAS JUST DRAFTED TO FHILLY76 A SCREWED UP PROGRAM, SO I AM GOING TO SHARE YOUR QUOTE, I THINK THAT IT WILL STRENTHEN HIM

Philly is a mess.

I'd put my money on Kentucky too.

KJ is on a 1 year contract..he's a RFA after this year. I wouldn't mind offering him a 1 year contract of 2million. That way even if Philly matches, we can still get him the next year. The guy is real.

Clipper's problem is lack of a legit scoring option. Yes they have CP3, Griffin, and Crawford, but they don't have a legit guy who can take over the game. Every team has that, even us (and we have 2), but the Clipps don't. CP3 is a great pg, but he's just not the type of player who can take over the offense. Crawford is the 6th man off the bench.. and that's exactly what he is. He can hit a few clutch shots like Vince Carter, but he won't take over games. Griffin is the guy who they're really depending on.

Griffin has improved tremendously since his rookie year, but he just doesn't have a post up game. That's the same thing with AD. G

The Clippers are at best, a 2nd round playoff team.

To be fair, Boogie and Al Jefferson are pretty much the only two big men in the league who do at this point. The NBA's gone so perimeter oriented that most big men in the modern league never learn how to post.

Great box out technique! That was a clear foul by Cisco on Harden!

Between the lackadaisical effort of Harden and the general standoffishness of Kobe, I'm surprised the arena didn't just collapse into a pocket dimension where uninspired basketball goes to die.

Thunder are hosting Nets. If there's one winning matchup for eastern team out in wild wild west, it's Thunder. The only west team with a losing record against East, 1-4. Go Nets!
Phoenix is apparently going for Dallas record of best point differential for the season.

There is really some awful basketball being played around this league currently. A number of teams aren't competitive many nights.

Tor 101 Mil 56 in the 3rd
Pho 122 Phi 96

Atrocious.

Pelicans have gone from up 12, to down 16, to now down 11. With 4:08 left in the first half.

Welcome to Denver. People discount that win, but winning in Denver on the second night of a back to back is not easy.

And Thunder just dropped to 1-5 vs East. Kings will have to redeem themselves with 3 wins over Thunder with healthy Durant/Westbrook for that loss! :D

7 of 12 games today had a final point differential of 17+ points. In 10 of 12 games the loser lost by 10+ points. 4 of 12 games were 25+ point blowouts, 3 of which were 29+ point blowouts.

Unbelievable.
