The title of this thread needs to be changed to regular season so we can talk some NBA. Wow...Mavs vs Spurs never disappoints another game down to the wire. I really like the Mavs coming out the West this year, they are deep.

I don't know whether or not this is just an opening night thing, but if they're going to continue to air the postgame on League Pass this year, Mister Slim is going to be very happy.

That Pelicans lineup is one Eric Gordon trade away from making sense. Every time I get upset at the Landry contract, I look at Gordon and feel a little better.

To the Pelicans' credit they had Evans handling the ball a lot, especially early in the game. I thought they stupidly went away from it in their feeble attempts to get Eric Gordon going

Wow. Randle being carted off on a stretcher with a leg injury. Fairly certain the Lakers season opener couldn't possibly go any worse.

so crazy whats happened to that team! i hate the lakers just as much as the next guy but this is really terrible, i was looking forward to watching Randle ball it up.

But not on the SAME team. They fit separately into different puzzles, much like different types of alcohol fit into different kinds of drinks but unless you're an idiot college student do not blend together well at all.

@Does anyone actually know why everyone was raving about Exum? I have watched him play for Australia and now the the Jazz he doesn't really do anything well and literally looks like he's going to fall down everytime he makes a move. Doesn't seem explosive and can't shoot what am I missing seeing in him that made him a top 5 pick without ever facing any decent comp?

#The Mavericks had close to 20 dunks on the Jazz and aside from Favors most the other Jazz players don't seem to have improved at all Kantar is still beyond garbage and the worst defensive big probably in the NBA.

I also found this rather hilarious

I get that, but what I mean is... We could have kept some of them and just added other better players such that they could be effective in the roles that they now find themselves in. A complete gutting of these players left and right hasn't exactly left us better off.
