It's a dry patch....but the defense is not there
Eh. If we hold GSW to 60 a half, that should be enough for us to go get a W. Curry 12 pts on 10 shots, Wiggins 11 points on 10 shots. Getting worked by Klay and Dray for sure, but really kooping Poole, Wiggins and Steph in check so far. DDV 0-3 too.

And we know we're bad on defense for the most part. What's been more concerning is our league best offense really hasn't shown up this series where we impose our will. Mostly because the shooting has been so freaking bad.

We are letting them rattle us mentally. Too much complaining to the refs after every non call. We have to know by now that we just aren’t going to get calls and that it’s pointless. Focus on defense and value each possession. Sabonis is getting hacked every possession but still mostly playing well. He needs to be more aggressive though they are giving him 15 feet of space every time.

Ultimately, it’s clear we are going to need to win this outright. Refs are not calling a thing for us and it’s just going to be that way. We need to minimize mental mistakes and toughen up. It would also help if Barnes and Huerter could remember how to shoot.

What sucks is with Sabonis playing like this we just cant say we put forth our best effort.

We're missing clean looks from 3, im not sure why Davion has 5 3pta's and Murray has 2 but i guess thats the plan?
Kings can't just take what is given. They must DRIVE their offensive possessions and take what they want. GET KEEGAN SHOTS, run your offense.

He doesn't force anything and it has to come within the flow of the game and their offense. The team needs to run plays for him, instead of worrying about trying to get Huerter going
But he did do something we hardly saw during the season in the first few mins. He drove to the basket, initiated contact, and made some baskets close to the hoop. Then we stopped giving him the ball. He barely touched the ball in the 2nd qtr

Well after hot starts both Fox and Murray cooled way down. It's interesting how so far Fox has been apprehensive of his drives. That finger might be hampering his float game. He's going to have to start owning that paint next half.

They're just missing shots, its not defense. Game 2 they were flying around - furnace energy with crowd roaring and it was for all to see. Not tonight....they need to outhustle the Warriors and they're not.

Also to be fair, Klay is going nuclear. He's hit like 3 incredibly tough, contested jumpers. One of those 10/10 defense, 11/10 offense type possessions.

Most seasons this is where all the bedwetters start alternating between calling for firing the coach and a total rebuild. It’s kind of disorienting to not be seeing it this season!
You gotta give our fans credit. We are a knowledgeable fanbase. No one expected our team to be here but now that they are here we want them to perform as well as we know they can. That being said, we know that this is a work in progress. But we can still lament the bad play. We all know what this team is capeable of and that is better than what the warriors currently are.

Murray did have some great defense and didn't matter, but other Kings have not.....where's Edwards? Getting beaten on reboundiong - its lack of hustle.....

I do think no Edwards in this series has been a mistake. He was a good part of the rotation to close the year and the Warriors have like 17 guards/wings his wing defense could really help with.
