lol the suns really decided to trade for Brad Beal to create a “Big” Three only for the guy to crumble under the bright lights of the playoffs

Wolves looked good. Thats how you improve from year to year. They got rolled by the nuggets in the first round last year and now they come back and sweep the suns to move to the 2nd round. Congrats wolves. I hope they do better this year against the nuggets.

This is way worse than the kings not making the playoffs and a reminder that “on paper” doesn’t mean much. 3 self creators, length, they added 3 and d role players and they couldn’t win one game. Their only way to get better is hope for more chemistry with another year or that some team is dumb enough to break Nurkic into two useful defender types. Otherwise, it’s Durant off to a contender at the trade deadline. If I’m them I’m seeing if I can flip Beal to the Nets for Simmons. If it works you have an elite defender and facilitator and if it doesn’t he comes off the books after the season. Beal of course would have to approve it but could be a good pairing with Bridges.

Pods, Kuminga and Wiggins is a pretty enticing trade package. They have picks too. LA and Phoenix Golden State are the most intriguing franchises to watch this off season. All three of them have aging superstars they are trying to maximize and the window is closed but not locked. Tick Tok as our departed forum member used to say.

He's 36 yro this year -time is catching up....no position to demand - out with the old.....in with the new - like a bunch of the older stars - their time is waning.
