Another game we most likely won't win, but a chance for the kids to learn some more valuable lessons - unless, of course, Pop decides to "rest" anyone with a pulse. ;)

The Kings are playing with heart and as long as they continue to do that, I can wait for the wins to return. More and more credit to Dave Joerger, who seems to be doing everything right.

Pop resting players didn't seem to affect the outcome of the last game...

    They're a machine.

Don't care about the outcome. Just want Skal or PapaG or one of the other kids to have another encouraging game!

Spurs are my favorite to win it this year. If KD isn't fully healthy and Curry isn't hitting at an incredible clip they can get out coached and Leonard could earn his 2nd finals MVP.

Might have a shot if we call it at the half.

I just want a lot of time for the youngins in this game. All I want is for them to play and play as hard as they can for the entire game.

By the way, I love the fact that this team really seems to like each other. It's obvious from the smiles and the talking and the touching of each other in encouraging fashion that they like each other; also, it's obvious from the willingness to pass the ball. All of which is part of the "culture" that I for one am very pleased to see.

G-man said something about that during the radio broadcast of yesterday's game. He said something along the lines of that he was able to watch the practice the day before, and came away feeling that this group plays hard, genuinely seems to like each other, and has a good time in each other's company.

I think this is extremely important in building a culture of winning. I think the guys had that back in the Webber glory days too.

It's also why I want to see Temple, Tolliver and Koufos still with the team next season. They are all the types of vets you want on a rebuilding team. Hard working, fundamentally sound guys who are good in the locker room and willing to help the young guys develop.

Koufos and Tolliver are only signed through next season anyway. But that season helping Skal, Papa, Buddy, WCS, Malachi and the (hopefully) two first round picks and second rounder (and possibly Bogdan) would be crucial.

Yes, you want lots of minutes for young guys to develop but you need vets to help guide them.

    Here's a beast we're yet to vanquish...
We had our wins against some Warriors, Raptors, Grizzlies, Hawks, Thunders, Jazz, Cavs, Mavs and what-nots...
But we never hunted us no Spurs this season...

Can the kids change that, now that SAS has not that much to play for?

    Think you know?

A fan has got to do
what a fan has got to do...

No idea. I guess that's why they say "personal reasons."

    Malachi still out?

WCS had his 4/2 game yesterday (or whatever), so maybe he's due to suck us back in with competency today

Collison has been a ghost post Cousins, a let down.

Has LaMarcus Aldridge gotten bigger or is everyone else out there just skinny?

Whoa. Has Gasol's FT stance always looked that bad?

I love that PapaG is going after rebounds and banging away. He seems much less "soft" in game than what was said about him before he got any PT.

Impressive 1st quarter. How about Papa?! Wow!

It's interesting for me to realize I can hate Pau Gasol no matter what team he's on... NEVER liked him and apparently I never will. :p
