I didn't watch a single MLS game this past season after being a big fan, thanks to Apple TV. I won't sign up for Peacock just to watch a playoff game. These streaming services are going to really hurt the popularity of the major sports.
Every team I've rooted for since that disaster in Philly has lost. But I can't root for the Bucks to help the Kings. Go Kings!!! And go Pack -- let's make the state of Wisconsin go 1-1 today.
Fox + Sabonis is better for the Kings than Fox + Haliburton, and Haliburton + Turner is better for the Pacers than Sabonis + Turner. So the trade is a win-win. And Indiana wanted Haliburton so trading Fox instead was NOT an option.
It seems to me that the main purpose of the in season tournament is to have games before Christmas that matter. I've heard many commentators over the years say that the NBA season doesn't really start until the Christmas Day games (primarily because of the NFL).
Don't think so. I have DirecTV and it's on the NBA channel (216).
I watched the Toronto game here:

(and I don't have League Pass)
Agreed -- a respectable showing. They parked the bus and their goalie was good. I'll be interested to see how they do against Portugal and the Netherlands. Hope they can score.
I don't think there was a single European-based player on the team (without looking it up). Those teams are getting ready for the start of their season. Basically the same reason why we as Kings fans preferred that Domas didn't play for Lithuania this summer.
