    Domas at PF?

Depends on the match ups. Against the Pels for instance, I like the idea. Good defenses react to what the offense throws at them. Just remember that the position a player can handle is determined by who they can guard.

    "A menace on the perimeter."

Mike Brown is slowly molding the Kings into a good defensive team. It feels like a Dream.

    [Game] Kings vs. Warriors - 4/16/2024 (Play-In Tournament) - 7:00PM PDT/10:00PM EDT (TNT)

Not just a victory but redemption. The new look Kings did not just beat the Ws, they demoralized them. No more smiling, smirking, behind the back passes and walking off the court at the end of the game. The Terriers starters looked absolutely ordinary. The Kings held them to under 100...

    Domas at PF?

Edey will be a great addition to almost any team.

    [Game] Kings vs. Pelicans - 4/11/2024 - 7:00PM PDT/10:00PM EDT (TNT)

Tough to beat any team in the NBA that makes 3s like the Pelicans did last night. Physically the Kings were over matched at the 4 and 5 a lot of the time. The Pels have a good inside/outside game we do not match up against them worth beans. Len had a physical presence. Sabonis was...

    The 2024 Playoff Chase Thread

The League seems to have a lot of talent in the Western Conference and great parity. There may have been few times when winning a championship is so challenging.

What is the best individual sports performance you have witnessed in person?

Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris hitting multiple home runs at Griffith Stadium. U of Maryland playing South Carolina at Cole Field House and beating the No 1 team 33-31 before the shot clock. U of Washington beating Michigan in the 1978 Rose Bowl.

    NCAA basketball

I sat down and watched the Women's Final Four for the first time. They have come a long way. The good teams are fundamentally sound and play the right way. Clark is a great passer. Some big centers really dominate. Defenses are slow to change and double team. I like watching it though.

    [Game] Kings @ Knicks- 4/4/2024 - 4:30PM PST/7:30PM EST (TNT)

The season starts to feel really long about now. Everyone is banged up and tired of traveling. They are mentally worn out. Mental lapses led to turnovers and poor offense in the 4th quarter.

    Lyles has MCL injury

Nothing happened to the horse. He was smart enough to stop and did not go off the drop off.

    Congrats Domantas Sabonis!

    Our All-Star.

    Lyles has MCL injury

A "wreck" is the common term for a horse accident. A ranch gelding spooked real bad and headed for a steep drop off. I bailed off him and did not land very well. Six weeks made a big difference. A strain should be much shorter healing time.

    The Sabonis Thread

We all know he is an All-Star. Great mental toughness. Great leader. Quiet and competent. A great team mate. I love this guy.

I ripped an MCL in a horse wreck. They heal up really well but take some time.

[Game] Kings vs Los Angeles Lakers - 3/13/2024 7:00PM PST/10:00PM EST (ESPN)

Color me impressed. The Kings stayed even at half, and poured it on in the third. They made a lot of steals and some jump switches leading to stops. They they played great down the stretch to go 4-0 against the hated Lakers. Special shout out to Keon Ellis. Great defender that brings...

Things you would change about the NBA

Enforcing the rules a little more would help a lot. Traveling, double dribble, carrying the ball happen all the time. Moving screens, lane violations are next. The 3 ball makes some games pretty boring. Its just a 3 point shooting contest. Not sure how to fix it. Back up the line one...

    Sabonis at the Four?

Most players have their positions determined by who they can play defense against. I agree with Kingston, Sabonis is not a great defender and would struggle against quicker forwards. That is why he is a natural 5 even with his ball handling and passing ability. Adding Len or McGee gets you...

    De’Aaron Fox

Fox has a mid-range game that no one can stop. He has worked hard to become a 3 point threat. His speed puts pressure on the defense a lot of the time. He can turn on elite defense when required. He is turning into a leader.
