TV - What's your passion (NON-sports)?

Major Crimes!!! What is up with Julio and would Phllip Strough please, and I am begging here, kill off Rusty? He is the Jar Jar Binks of the Closer/Major Crimes series.
The Julio situation is mysterious and I will admit to being tired of Rusty. He needs to go away to college, lol.

Forgot to mention Elementary as a favorite of mine.

... It doesn't look like Megan is going to make it to the season finale... I've got to say this, though: Scorpion has quickly become my favorite show on television right now, my favorite show, in fact, since they canceled Leverage. But, if they come up some sort of plot contrivance where Walter cures his sister's MS, I am abandoning ship.

For those of you also watching Supergirl, I was on some forum earlier today (probably P-tv), and someone was saying that they hope that Kara ends up with Winn (sp?), instead of James, and I literally can't think of a single reason why they would make a better match?

Ok someone please explain to me what the thing was in the opening scene that was laying next to Daryl and breathing? I swear that was an alien

I should probably actually specify what show I am talking about lol...the walking dead

It's on Cinemax which doesn't seem to get much attention, has anyone watched The Knick?

Season two right now, but I just wrapped up season one. Show is amazing, about a hospital in 1900. Pretty much getting put on the surgeons table is a death sentence on this show. It takes some historical liberties but its super anyways.

Besides that I'm watching Ash vs. Evil Dead right now.

It was one of the people who had been trapped in the greenhouse when it burned. The membrane-like covering was melted glass.

Okay, I am totally addicted to The Walking Dead and The Talking Dead. Last night, AMC premiered a new show in between them called Into the Badlands. I wasn't too interested in it but I recorded it anyway, because my DVR has a bad habit of sometimes cutting off the beginning or ending of shows.

I'm very glad I recorded it. There's a touch of Hidden Dragon, Crouching Tiger and a lead character who reminds me a lot of Bruce Lee. There's a bit of Kung Fu there, to0. All in all, it's a lot better than I thought it was going to be. If you're into martial arts-type action, this might hold your interest.

There's not much that I'm into other than martial arts action! Basically, the only thing I'm interested in more than Kung Fu Theater is basketball. I'm not sure what to make of this show, though: the pilot was a little too much plot/not enough action for my tastes. Hope that ratio changes shortly.

Those were the other ones...this was from the very opening scene when he fell off his bike in the burned out woods. I found out what it was though...a dead person with a motorcycle helmet melted over his head. LOL. I can't believe I thought it was an alien .

Ohhh. That one. I should have read your question more carefully. :p

So, who do you think was on the walkie-talkie at the very end? I'm thinking it was Glenn, because I do not think he's dead.

I thought of you when I started watching it. :)

I thought it was Glenn, but after reading an interview with Norman Reedus today, I don't think it is...however I am almost positive he's alive.
Just found out also that Jeffrey Dean Morgan has been cast as Negan which I'm pumped about. Always liked him as an actor

Hrm. Morgan is currently on The Good Wife. I was starting to like his character. Guess that's gonna end...

What interview with Daryl did you read? EDIT: Never mind. I just saw it. :)

Marvel's Jessica Jones is definitely a Netflix production and not for OTA broadcasts. Only caught the first two episodes so far. Interesting to see how this develops with the upcoming Luke Cage and Iron Fist Netflix series and then the Defenders series bringing them all together with Daredevil.

May I suggest Mr. Robot which is about a young hacker with Walter White level genius. It scored a perfect season on rotten tomatoes which is insane. It's probably too dark for the use network but would fit in on amc.

Currently started game of thrones and I already hate Geoffrey.

We must be watching two different shows - or expecting totally different things. ;)
For the most part I really enjoyed the season, it's just the finale that irritated me. just incredibly boring and I found the writing to be lacking. Maybe I need to go rewatch the episode again.

Speaking of Jessica Jones, am I the only one who doesn't know how to react whenever somebody talks about how they recognize an actor from some other show, and then everybody starts referring to that actor as the character from Show B, and you're sitting in the corner like, "I've actually never seen a minute of that show; I know that actor from Show C."

That ever happen to anyone else, or is it just me?

I'd recommend it. There's a lot of stuff in there, and the tease at the end is beyond awesome, if only because it references the addition of Jeffrey Dean Morgan to the cast. :)

The season finale of Doctor Who did not disappoint. In fact, it ranks right up there with some of my favorite episodes ever. Well done, Mr. Moffat.

In accordance with the Broken Clock theory, a commenter at Previously.tv made an amusing remark about Quantico:

This show was created and based around the premise that Priyanka Chopra is hot and the writers never felt a need to add anything more to it.
This show is pretty terrible; I don't know why I keep watching... Oh wait, yes I do: because Priyanka Chopra is hot!

I watch because I think it's hilarious that a whole group of FBI cadets couldn't figure out the Twin Gambit for months. And, I haven't seen so many ludicrous plot twists since the "dream year" of Dallas.
