New arena seating info

#1
Has anyone received their ticket info package for the new arena yet? They told us it would be sent out the first week of September. Ok, tomorrow is the 7th. Anyone?

I contacted my rep a few weeks ago, they are still working on it. You wont be getting a package. They will be contacting you to setup up a meeting.

Thanks, but they told me in mid-August at the new arena tour that we'd all get a letter in the mail around the first week in September with our preliminary seating assignments and a few alternatives if we want to move. THEN we would get a call from our account rep to discuss any questions and THEN they would schedule a 24-hour period around the end of September when we would have to finalize our seat selection.

Not sure what you're shooting for here. You asked a question and a fellow STH gave you the best answer they had. Maybe you should be contacting Phil Horn or somebody in ticket sales directly?

Not shooting for anything VF. I was sharing what the Kings told me because it's somewhat conflicting with what Section 101 was relating. Just wondered if anyone else has received their seating info before I contact my customer rep. I agree that's the next step.

Unfortunately, one thing the Kings haven't seemed to resolve under the Vivek administration is consistency in their information. We went through this last year, too, with a lot of different STH hearing different things. Good luck...and let us know if you get better information. ;)

This is the reply I received from the Kings yesterday to my question whether seating info had been sent out yet:

"They have not. We are working with a tentative timeline so it's been pushed back a bit. We plan to start mailing information in waves starting near the end of September with all of our members receiving the information by the end of October. Thanks for checking in!"

So if I read this right, it could be we'll receive info any time between the end of September to the end of October. Stay tuned.

I got an email today.
The moment you’ve been waiting for is here! You will receive a mailing from us containing exciting information regarding initial Golden 1 Center seating assignments. In that package, you will find details on:

  • The virtual viewer that will allow you to digitally tour the seating areas of the new arena
  • Your allocated seat location and pricing
  • How to renew your membership
  • Online appointment time to search for alternative seating options should you wish to relocate
Members will receive this information in waves, so it is vital that you act quickly in order to take advantage of the priority that you have earned as a member. Please review the information as soon as it arrives and let me know if you have any questions about the enclosed content.

I got a slight variation on your email Section 101. I suppose I'm in a later "wave".

I have tried to pry it out of them where my seat assignment is - but I guess it is an a vault till November... arrghghhhh.

Keep us posted please - I wonder how close your initial assignment is to your current seat in terms of view and price position?
Been wondering the same since they tried to upgrade me to club seats.

Got my seat assignment on Friday. Looks like they have come as close as they can to where mine are now. We are two from the right aisle but there was s no fight aisle, just a long drop to the "Club" area. There are rails in the lower half aisles (which I need) - good. I have about 10 days to say yay or nay and I need to sign up and pay before I can change seats. We'll see.

Yes you have to pay before doing relocation.

A seating chart for the G1C is seen here:

Who decided to offset the section numbering in the lower and upper bowls? Is this common now? I am always used to the section numbering being identical except for the first number (indicates level). Here, we have section 201 directly above section 103, etc. What a stupid way to number the sections. Or am I the only one who thinks this isn't the brightest way to do things?

It looks like since the top is open at one end there aren't the same number of sections in the bottom and the top. So you'd either have to have the top sections run from 203-224 and skip 201/202, or you have them offset.

Or, you just start with section 101 below where 201 is and you have sections 122-126 in the area where there is no upper deck. ;-) That way all the sections match upper and lower and there is no "gap" in numbering. If that wasn't desirable, why not just have the top sections run from 203-224?

In Prior years been sharing with a long time with a STH that had seats Row B Sec 219 at a Grandfathered price of $24.50 seat
I dedicded I wanted Tickets in my name as owner before new arena so Got my own seats
So Current season I signed up in Jan before this season started Got 219 Row H (7th row) For $28
Then went to relocation Event in May upreaded to 203 - Other end zone Row D (3rd Row) For $32

So my assigned seats for New Arena is Row F (5th Row) Sec 222 (corner section) seat 13-14 For $40 seat
So went from 1st row $24.50 to 3rd row $32 to 5th row $40 - ouch

We lost 4 end zone second level at the Grand Entrance , and 4 end zones at other end 210-213 are nosebleed seats only above the open air lounge

So all of us 2nd level endzone and corner STH in rows B-I at sleep train (16 Sections) have to fit in 8 upper level corner sections (actually only 5 due to ADA seats) so Im guess Im glad I only got pushed up 2 rows

I think I will have to wait until my online upgrade appt Dec 9 at 11am
to see price increase if any seats are avail below row F at what additional cost?

I wonder if I can find out if seats 13-14 are close to asle seats?

other than the online relocation can a detail for each seat be found anywhere?

Has anyone gotten a initial assignment in rows C, D, or E in the corner sections 201,209,214,221,222 ?
If so at what price?

thanks so much for your help John

I tried counting left to right from Row F came up with 16 seats also

But I also counted from looking up from Row B and came up with 14 seats

Tried zooming in on full court pic , hard to count those fuzzy seats

Based on rows getting bigger best guess for the 4 short rows between 12-15 Rows so oh well!

Has anyone that have used the Relocation seen any of these $43 lower level seats that are in Zone G (Black Color) which is priced $43 to $79 That zone looks to be 3-6 rows starting from Row S or T in the End Zone only

So I would assume any $43 seats would have to be the Last Row since the price goes from $43 to $79

I really cant even imagine any of the $43 seats even being available

I don't think It would even be worth taking the time to search these lower end zone sections and concentrate on getting to 3rd or 4th row upstairs from my current 5th row seats

Has anyone even seen these seats on lower level?

My initial assignment is 207 C, seats 9-10 for a price of $55/game.
My relocation appt isn't until 12/10, but hoping to move up and closer to aisle if the price is right. We have aisle now (sec 217) and I love it! Looks like seats 9-10 are centered.
The new pricing is a jump of $1032.00. Too rich for my blood.

there is my update My assigned seats were Sec 222 row F ( 5th Row) seat 13-14 two seats from isle $40 per

As I suspected there were not any lower level avail under $50 (my max price)

Relocated seats best we found were /sec 222 Row D (3rd Row) corner seats 10-11 still two from Isle at $45 per seat

So this season end zone sec 208 3rd row are $32 New arena for corner 3rd Row are $46 (incl $1 arena fee)

Total increase to stay on row 3 43.75% increase!!! Ouch

i mean even though we are tech on corner vs end zone
avail but still big jump

Changed our seats from section 207 C 9/10 to 206 J 1/2, to get back to an aisle seat...more center court, just a few bucks more than what I pay now. Can't wait to see what our real seats are going to look like!
