Bucks trade

Mil: Henson Illyasova Dudley
Sac: Williams Landry Evans

Bucks trim some salary going from Illyasova to Landry, plus lose Dudley's extra contract year. With Parker out they can take a flier on D Will.

Illyasova adds some shooting, rebunding, and not a huge drop off from Landry's D.
Henson with some development can be that perfect complimentary big. As is, good enough to be a 4th big.
Dudley can replace Dwill as combo forward 11th man, plus has some playoff experience. If he recovers his shot, can take some heat off Nik at the 2. (Long time target of mine as well)

Eh, I'd probably do that.

Would the Bucks? I don't see the rationale from their side other htan to dump Ersan's contract.

Either way I don't see that as a big improvement for the Kings. Illyasova gives a nice stretch 4 option and Henson is a decent backup PF/C. Dudley might actually pay the most dividends until Stauskas comes around.

Well, were not really giving up much here, so why not? Both Williams and Evans are gone at seasons end, unless Williams wants to sign for the league minimum, and even then, I'm not sure the Kings are interested. If the Kings are truly looking to becoming a run and gun team, the then Landry doesn't really fit. Lets be honest. Landry, except for a few games, has had little or no impact on the Kings, so it wouldn't be a dramatic loss.. However, I echo Funky in that I'm not sure why the Bucks would want to make this trade. Illyasova is four years younger than Landry, taller, and has the ability to shoot the three, but is somewhat inconsistent from there. I doubt that Henson will ever be a starter in the NBA, but I can see him as a 15/20 minute a game player off the bench for defense. Dudley is what he is. A spot up shooter who, if left open, which we decided to do last night, can kill you from the three. Trust me folks, he's not always that good.

So as I said, why not? I'm not sure how much it helps us, but I do think, finances aside, we would benefit more than the Bucks would. Which is always a good reason to make a trade.

No way the Bucks agrees for that. Henson is on a Rookie contract and got a lot of potential- he is by far the best asset in that trade. Ilyasova maybe cost 1.4 mil more per season but he is much more of a complete (and moveable imo) player than landry. Dudley is considered a good locker room guy and they gonna need him after Parker went down- and i dont see the Evans appeal for them.

you can't make trades without thinking about the other side, here's a trade i like:

We give Landry and DWill (and keep Evans because of his connection to Cousins).
We get- RoLo as a decent back-up big, Davis as the 2nd PF behind JT, Lilard as a backup PG and Butler for nights Ben and Nik dont mail it in. our starting five will stay the same and our second five will be:
Lilard-Butler-Casspi-Davis-Lopez
that's a pretty good trade imo :)
