Well ... as much as I oppose having him at the 3 it's pretty clear that they've been having success with it, because at the end of the day he's still handling the ball and not just stuck in the corner. But Gordon is inconsistent ... they'd be better off switching him for a JJ Redick sorta guy who can run around and catch and shoot (they've got Jimmer on the bench but he doesn't have the same kind of quickness and is a bit smaller).

Lol I've just watched the 4th quarter... I hope this is how they play tomorrow. AD is overrated as hell.. there's a reason why the Pelicans don't go to AD down the stretch. He can't create his own shot... Tyreke forcing everything too
Actually, in the fourth, it was missed jumper after missed jumper. And, after three very good quarters, he suddenly couldn't see Anthony Davis any more.
Depends on the needs of your team. Tyreke has been playing very well this season, aside from missing some layups that he normally makes. His passing is vastly improved and he leads the Pelicans in assists. It would probably be fair to say Rudy Gay 13 mil > Tyreke 11 mil, but not to some clearly obvious extent. And of course, we haven't seen Gay's production when he's actually earning 13 mil a year.
FYI, lost in all the Anthony Davis hate, Evans was 0-2 in the first half, 5-9 in the second. All eighteen points, and all five of his assists in the second half.

I pointed this out in the game thread at halftime, though nobody else acknowledged it. Evans/Davis is the engine that runs that team and we kept both of them in check in the first half but our guards aren't strong enough to stop Tyreke and Davis is especially dangerous operating in all the open space created when Tyreke drives the ball. If Rudy and/or Ben had a big second half it might not have mattered. Most of the discussion after the game seemed to revolve around Ryan Anderson torching us from three but 4 for 12 on the game isn't exactly world beating. More worrisome was allowing Tyreke to do whatever he wanted to the tune of an 18 and 5 second half.
I don't know. They still have guard depth. If they moved Reke back to the 2, that means they'll hav to start Babbitt at the 3 and I don't think that's a good thing
This game is a perfect example of Bad!Evans. Not hitting shots, and he's being selfish. If they were playing at SKC tonight, he'd be getting booed right now.
