Deni Avdija is a pipe dream. Why would Wizards trade a 23 years old SF who has 4 more years on his contract? The most realistic options are still BI and Grant.
From the Magic perspective, you want to use your cap to get an all star while Banchero, Wagner and Suggs are still on rookie contract, not a 6th man of the year candidate. I am not saying Magic can't use him, but there are better use for their cap.
I don't think the market for Monk is as hot as people on the board think. The only attractive team for Monk might be Orlando. However, if I was the Magic, Monk would be my 3rd choice behind Lavine and Klay for the cap space they have. Monk is nice, but it doesn't take them far.
I am not sure why people think Monk would leave if we offer the max we can offer. No team is paying him more than 20m a year
Also, we need to think about the 3rd star. Lavine is the first name on my mind.
This is a wake up call for everybody, from monte to Fox/sabonis/murray.
For Monte, fix the kings roster issue
For the players: they should never allow their team to lose to bad team.
People talk about in game adjustments about this game. It wouldn’t be matter if they had beaten pistons, wiz, hornets, blazers or not blowing 20 pt lead
