Harrison Barnes; Any Questions?

Yeah, he's putting us in a pickle. Huerter too, the last 6 or 7 games. If these guys start showing up like this on any sort of consistent basis, you don't want to trade them. But they're also the only assets we can realistically trade to get some sort of value back.

Idk.

Bobby Marks still thinks KVon has first round value. Maybe you swing a 3 way deal with the Nets and a team that needs shooting where we are only sending out seconds. Like KVon to the Magic, DFS to the Kings and Harris (expiring) first (from Orlando) and 2 seconds (from Kings to the Nets)

Fox
HB
Keegan
DFS
Domas

I hate trading anyone but that would be a sweetheart deal.

Monte posted a video of HB after the victory against the hawks. Seems like he is trying to repair the relationship after the Siakam trade attempt. Doesn’t mean he won’t make a trade if the right deal comes along but I wonder if he is backing off some
I suppose if another big move can't be made, then Monte may just stay pat as is and try again in the off season.

HB must have read my post calling him cooked a few games ago. He's stepped up since.

In all seriousness, great game by HB. Obviously not sustainable but we need him to be more aggressive and productive on a consistent basis for this team to take a step.

Unfortunately you'll get 5-10 games of this caliber of play from him a season.
I'm betting that's not true IF you call plays for him.

Brown has said multiple times that he doesn't call plays for HB. After last night's game he said that he called more plays for HB in that game than he had, cumulatively, all season. WHY? How does that make sense?

Again, we ALL know HB is often waaaay too passive. We wish it were otherwise. But, knowing this, why does an otherwise smart coach take 40+ games (just staying w/THIS season for a moment) to figure out that calling plays for an offensively talented-but-often-passive player might be a good idea?

Going forward, I do wonder how much the 4-days off/3-days off had to do w/HB's energy level and willingness/ability to step up. And what'll happen when he gets off to a bad shooting start. We know he tends to back off if his shots don't fall early. Will "this" version of HB do the same, r will he take the open look w/confidence regardless?

And will Brown call a few plays for him now, every game, as needed? We don't need and probably don't want 44-FGA-in-2-games HB unless he's smoking. But even w/this outburst he's averaging 8.2 FGA/game while shooting 48/41/83. Ridiculous. Get the man 12/13 shots per game, pls! Mix in some low-post action! Stop parking him in the corner all damn game.

Grrrr.
