So, Tyreke Evans had another solid outing off the bench for Memphis this afternoon, posting 20/3/4 in a win against the Clippers.

As of right now, Evans leads all non-starters in scoring. Just thought I'd mention that.

Good for him. I thought he was DONE after his showing in Sacramento last season.

In other news, Boogie and Brow are .500 now!

Also, I'd like to get on the record that I ****ing loathe the way the Chicago Bulls are playing right now. They play like the 2016-17 Houston Rockets, if the Rockets replaced all their good players with guys from the G-League.

I am very intrigued by their defensive potential: their length and athleticism at least gives them the possibility to be the Warriors!Stopper team that I've been hoping for.

Pelicans' defense is atrocious. Indiana got out to a seven-point lead early in the second quarter. New Orleans got back to within 3 on a Cousins And-1 and, from that point until the end of the half, New Orleans went 11 of their last 14 defensive possessions of the quarter, without getting a stop. They're shooting nearly 55 percent from the field, and they're down fourteen!

Well, okay then... All I can say at this point is, that halftime speech must have been fire! Pelicans locker room must have the BOMB orange slices and Gatorade.

Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins just bailed Jrue Holiday out twice, in the final 20 seconds! Holiday went 1-2 at the line, with New Orleans hanging on to a three-point lead by a thread, Davis got a critical offensive rebound, and called time out. Then, Indiana fouled him again... Holiday goes 1-2 at the line, again... but this time Cousins got the o-board and the put back, to put them up five, with 15 seconds to go.

Just your friendly reminder that Jrue Holiday is, in fact, the highest paid player on the New Orleans Pelicans.

Tyreke continues to be underrated. He's always been an above average NBA player, but doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Gasol and Conley have gotten all the credit for their 6-4 start. Tyreke has actually outplayed Conley so far in the season.

Conley: 18.4pts 4asts 3rebs on 40/30.2/79.6
Tyreke: 17.1pts 2.6asts 5rebs on 48.8/44.7/88.9

the Wiz are pathetic, losing at home to a 1-10 Mavs team after beating Toronto on their home court without Wall. Then they also lose to the Suns on their home court and to the Lakers. Very disappointing start for them, something has gotta give. Oh wait, I know...they don't defend!
