(CNN)Former NBA player and coach Derek Fisher was charged with DUI early Sunday morning after rolling his Cadillac in suburban Los Angeles, police said.

Neither Fisher nor his passenger, former "Basketball Wives" star Gloria Govan, was injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Fisher was driving north on US 101 just east of the I-405 exchange in Sherman Oaks about 3 a.m., police say. His vehicle veered onto the paved shoulder and hit a raised concrete curb and a guard rail, then overturned and came to rest on its roof, the CHP said.

Sources: Orlando's hiring Denver executive Pete D'Alessandro as an assistant GM. Moves D'Alessandro back to basketball side from business.
Alright vlade. Time to see what we can get for a trade exception and a 2nd round euro stash. The bar is set pretty high with a allstar pg that lead his team to a conference finals and was in MVP talks.

Meanwhile, the Clippers are exploring trade options for Jordan. Non-shooting centers aren't a hot commodity anymore. Blake and Paul free agents too doesn't help their cause.

Freeing up capspace for the lebron chase to compete with the lakers. Oh joy, it will be so much fun if lebron goes to any LA team and we face him 4 games a season as well as the warriors another 4 games. :(:confused:

Lakers obviously desperate to shed salary for the upcoming Paul George hunt. Nets took advantage and got Russel for Lopez and a late first round pick. Good deal for the Nets.
A bit sad, that the Kings didn't come up with something more attractive for the Lakers.
Russel+Hield would have been a pretty decent, young backcourt.
But I guess with the draft right in front of us, the Kings had other plans.

Russell also not exactly a fit for the "Character Matters" era

From the outside looking in he comes across as a bit of an immature knucklehead. That's for sure.
Is he a "bad" character or just a young guy that stepped over the line a couple of times? I don't know. And frankly when the guys running the show are Vivek and Vlade I don't think "Character matters" is all that important anyways, now that we have moved on from DMC and found an excuse to deal him. ( Yeah yeah I know - I'm still salty as ****.)

I don't know much about the upcoming PG's of the draft, but Russel is a guy, who can give you 15-20 points and 5 assists a night, while being versatile enough to play both guard positions. He is comfortable shooting off the dribble and can run the pick&roll at the NBA level. Not an outstanding defender, but who cares about defense, when you can shoot 3's. ;)

A late first rounder, dealing with Mozgov's bloated contract and an expiring Brook Lopez is still a very good deal for a talent like Russel, who certainly is one of the more promising talents of the last 3 years. So it's the kind of deal I personally want the Kings to do. Use the capspace to get young, promising assets, by taking bad contracts. Even if we manage to deal with the Blazers for example, they don't have a talent like Russel on their roster.

Bron doesn't want to deal with the Warriors four times a year, I don't see him going to a Western Conference team to be honest.

That's what I'm still hoping. The smart thing to do is stay out east if he wants an easier path to the finals. But if he wants to build his brand, business wise, LA is where he wants to be

It LeBron James' motivation, at this point in his career, is to build his "brand," he'll go to New York City. The last time I checked, Madison Avenue wasn't in Los Angeles. If he wants to make movies, he'll move to LA.
