Ok cool. Was not sure this would last. But forgotten amongst the more exotic stuff was:

A toothache.

Yes, I am going to spend eternity with a toothache. Every day, every hour. It will never stop throbbing. Be there when I wake up. Be there to send nice shooting pains when I eat or drink. Be there when I try to get some sleep. Forever.

He may have been defeated in the supervillains draft. But now he's pissed and I have to live with the guy! I hear he's a Laker's fan too .

Hahaha! Looks like "Kooth" retired from villainy to a private island afterall

Yeah, he's pretty peeved that he lost that playoff round, and he's taking it out on me for eternity.

Sigh, ok, quickest way to do this, again (grrr) is just to edit your post (the one I am quoting here) to put in an embedded youtube. Then you can edit it yourself and take a look at the code + copy it. Its fairly simple.

There are three parts: the [xx] [/xx] (yt actually but that would have created a window here); the title, and the address code you get from the end of the address bar of your video. Format is [xx=title]address code[/xx]

Anyway, just check your post and I think you should be able to figure it out.

P.S. Have also added a more detailed explanation to the "How to Post at KF" sticky at the top of the main forum. Should answer any questions.

that's over 12 hours away. You know, more than half of his time is left... Isn't it just a tad premature to talk about him timing out this soon?

Actually when you think about it what could be more miserable than having to wait the entire 24 hours for every single pick in every TDOS draft? I think it's rather fitting, you know...

Oh yes.
This pain of hoping my next pick isnt picked in he last seconds is simply crippling!

VF, you may have altered my entire draft process!

In seriousness, Im thinking of putting a 12 hour clock up. We've already had two looong waits in the first round alone, and if we all want this draft to end before the NEXT TDOS, Im going to have to change some rules.

Common drafters, you signed up so make the picks!!!

Go back and look at last year's drafts. You'll see that life often got in the way and people just weren't around to make their picks the minute their turn was up...

If this rest period was affecting someone other than me I wouldn't care nearly as much!

Im just talking, and hoping the words make an impact somehow!

Ohhhhhhhhh. I thought you were speaking as commissioner. I'm not getting much of anything tonight... Now grousing because you're sick and tired of waiting for someone else to post their silly little pick so you can amaze and astound everyone with your prime selection is something I'm totally able to understand.

SLAB, when it comes time to vote, please do not pit Bricklayer and Warhawk against each other. How the hell would I choose between a toothache and the Staples Center? Hmmm! Maybe a toothache while surrounded by Laker fans would do it.

Sorry for the long wait everybody, I blame it on time zone complications. I hope this won't become much of a problem, as I would normally be online in the evenings on weekdays, but I should probably note that I'm operating in CET, so I might be a bit late quite often.

So, err, the pick. Wel, since I'm still not quite sure in which way I'll be going exactly, I'll just get the one pick out of the way, I'd do no matter which direction. So, for my food item I select Balut.

Warning: Do not, I repeat, do not click on the spoiler, unless you have a very strong stomach and absolutely want to see boiled duck fetus.

So, this beauty is enjoyed on the Phillipines in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, and the fifth and seventh levels of hell. As you could possibly tell from the picture, it's basically a duck egg that is incubated until the fetus has developed quite far, crunchy bones and all. They are then boiled and served to you, as a

I've gone about 7 different ways for this pick.

But in the end, no matter what any bug could do, what any plant could pain me, this guy will be the bane of my existence.

My pick.
Kobe Bryant.

I can think of the conversations.

Kobe: Remember when my boy Horry hit that shot over your boy Webb?
SLAB: ........

Kobe: Remember when we won game seven, then advanced to win Finals?
SLAB: .........

Kobe: Remember when Bibby's nose fouled my elbow? Man, I still feel shooting pains to my elbow! Ya know what I mean??
SLAB: .........

Kobe: I just won my fourth ring, maybe my bling can pay to get us out of here?
SLAB: ((((Searches for a sharp rock, which can't be found))))

This has got to be the WORST guy to spend eternity with.
Especially as a Kings fan.
Im near-queasy thinking about it!

Great, now there's not only Lakers fans but also the epitomy of evil to compete with? How on earth am I, or any of the others supposed to do that?
