Shouldn't this be in the main forum this one time. This Tuesday and Thursday are both huge dates.

Crown Downtown has been wonderful at these meetings but two things I have observed:

The first is when I look at the pictures, I see the same faces again and again. These dedicated individuals should get an applause.

The second observation is when following the twitter feed on the last council meeting, some of the commentators that spoke on the arena and other matters were marginalized because they have always been at these meetings. They become like some of the furniture, they are just there but have no effect.

I am sure Crown Downtown would love to be able to show up and have different faces to add to the ones that are always there. It makes their message all the stronger.

My apologies if I am out of line with this post.

Half of those who have shown up for this month's meetings are actually new people from last November and even from last spring.

We would love to see more new people as time goes on. It's a free event and it just takes up a few hours of your time. Depending on where you park, that doesn't cost very much either.

That's wonderful. I was looking more at the ones from the last few months. I would love to be there but I am in Kentucky. My co-workers just glaze over when I talk about the Kings, this is Wildcat territory.

You would need to go to our Facebook page or web site to see who attended city council with us last November 2012 or December 2011 to May 2012 when we were known as #FANS. So to add so many new faces this month has been great.

I'm a stubborn old coot, I've refused to give up on the Kings and have so far refused to join Facebook. Keep up the good work.

We did have new faces last week. Believe me, we would love to have many more. We also want new faces up there speaking, too, for just the reasons you mention. We do get a few new speakers, but not enough.

I had no idea a good childhood friend of mine (T.Huddle) was apart of this movement. Keep up the good work.
