    Cousins Blames Organization

I was gonna post this in personnel moves cause it appears Cousins is back to bad Boogie and is trying to play himself/talk himself out of town... wow Cousins is a mess and its not getting any better... off , on.... off, on.... ok granted what he said is true... haha the maloofs really f'd this team up. BUT again i find it very disturbing that Cousins is saying this stuff.

Cousins is un-tradeable in my book... has the ability to be the best 5 in the league... but geez

IT deserves to be nowhere near the all star game.

Cuz needs to stop letting his love affair with IT cloud his judgement.

“Sacramento is where I want to be,’’ he said. “I want to bring the organization back, help the organization get started back winning. I love the city of Sacramento. That’s where I want to be. End of story. “We can dig a hole, throw that topic in there, cover it with dirt, pack it down. I want to be in Sacramento. End of story.’’ -DeMarcus Cousins

Our franchise literally is about to rise from the ashes.

Does he mean the rookie vs sophomore game? That is the only thing that IT could play in.

Oh, I can only assume. He's not THAT irrational.

I don't see a problem with telling the truth.

My only problem is that DMC really needs to just quit talking to the press - any press.

The team is 17-30 and hes bringing up the fact IT didn't make the Rookie vs Sophmore game when there is nothing to suggest hes played any better than Brooks. Who cares about promotion to get promotion you have to play hard, play the right way and produce consisantly and nethier him or IT have done all these things. If he wants to tell the truth he should come out and say how to make the team better rather than talking about some irrelevent game that is not even proper basketball.

Save that breathe he just wasted on all that and use it to play hard during the game and stop letting your talents go to waste, if he plays well most the other Kings will as a result and IT is more likely to make that game and get promotion off your fine play.

I wish I could hear the tone of his voice, he might have been sarcastic when he mentioned IT.

Unfortunately I doubt it. I mentioned this a month ago when Cousins barked at Brooks -- I highly doubt he does that to IT, which is a problem. IT seems to be something like his pet, although in truth I think the relationship could be more the other way. In any case, Cousins' immaturity issues lend themselves easily to sort of grade school I'm picking my friends for my team sort of nonsense.

As an aside, the sophomore team is:
    Kenneth Faried
    Kyrie Irving
    Nikola Vucevic
    Tristan Thompson
    Brandon Knight
    Kawhi Leonard
    Chandler Parson
    Klay Thompson
    Kemba Walker

so you can see how realsitic Cousins' compalint is.

lol good stuff Cuz, tell it like it is. luckily u only have about 36 more games of playing for a god awful franchise, new ownership will turn things around

Without him elaborating it's difficult to actually know what he means when he says that.

That article reads it as "promotion and PR" something the kings have been lambasted for doing in the past. The Cuz bilboards, the IT ROY. etc.

Oh the last Thunder game Cuz and IT were into it. First quarter and didn't talk to each other the rest of the game.

So I just read the article these comments were from and I see zero issue with what he said. I don't necessarily agree that he and IT are snubs, but that really doesn't matter. He is 100% right that this organization sucks and is in shambles. Even with a good coach I don't know how they could focus every night. I have no problem with him voicing that opinion. And really, what does it matter?

Yeah, I read the entire article too, and it doesn't sound that bad when in context. The problem of course isn't what was said, but who said it. If Tyreke had made the same comments, I doubt anyone would take much issue with it. But of course, Cousins is the bad guy, so its a big deal. It wasn't as though he was crying about his omission from the all star game, he was sticking up for IT.

I'm known as the DMC basher around here and even I don't really think this is a big deal. It's very common for teammates to stick up for other teammates when they don't make certain All-Star teams and events. There is really nothing to see here. Move along.

I actually like Cousins sticking up for IT, even though I am not the biggest IT fan. It proves that Cousins is close to at LEAST one person on this team, meaning, at least one player can make him happy by being on the court. Thus, there are now three players on the Kings that should be untouchable, (DMC, Tyreke & IT)

Please do not ever use the word "untouchable" and "IT" in the same sentence.

There are several Kings who are not untouchable, IT is certainly one of them
