    Jermaine O'neal

Just blew up and went Boogie on Lance Blanks, his GM. Not making the trip to Sacto because of it.

On the premise the ownership situation may make large moves less likely than small ones, make a play for him if the Suns want to offload? Poach the same way people were trying to poach Cousins after his blow up?

Old, but legit former All Star backup center and still a shotblocker.

age 34. 16yrs on those legs though.
    This season: 15.6min 6.4pts (.471 .000 .778) 4.1reb 0.6ast 0.4stl 1.2blk 0.9TO
    $1.4mil ender

At his age, with that tiny contract, and ending, I doubt he draws any real offers of players. Mayeb a 2nd roudn pick. Maybe a random young guy.

Ken Berger says the blowup was at Lindsey Hunter (link) but I suppose that's secondary to the question.

O'Neal is a decent gamble, though we have little to offer - if we can't do it for a 2nd-round pick then I'm not sure who I'd like to send back (or who the Suns would want...Outlaw, anybody?)

That said, I do have the feeling that our front office is on complete lockdown mode due to the impending sale. With everything up in the air, I'd guess we're done with transactions (barring an emergency, or a finalized sale) for the year.

I think on paper he would be a perfect extra big to have on the team but I just worry that he would be a bad influence on DMC. I'm not sure if this is the norm for him or not, but if he's going "Boogie" on the front office of the Suns how is he going to behave on this disaster of a team that we have right now? I really think we need to find a good character guy to be around DMC, but I'm not sure how easy that would be to find somebody like that who is also a decent player.

Do we have a 2nd round pick? We traded 1 for JJ. Did we get one for trading our 2nd this year?
