I don't get why he went off, like I've said before I don't want to trade him but it might be in HIS best interest to go elsewhere.
And that is what makes me keep pointing back to the team culture and coaching. Every player's issues on this team keep getting explained that it might be better for them somewhere else (not that I don't get the point you are making). When everyone is potentially better somewhere else, time to look inside.

Rubbish. Accountability has nothing to do with that. He needs to be accountable for his actions regardless of what's happening with the team, which I fully agree with. That doesn't mean that there aren't issues at play around him that are contributing to his performance and behavior. Personal development is never that black and white

If you're the one defending the action it's a reason. If you're the one refuting the defense, it's an excuse.

Seems like s*** is really hitting the fan. What a crappy season this is turning into.

My hope is Smart is gone by the time I get back. Can't believe I was up at 4am to watch this crap. Cuz has got to grow up. I don't mind him having a go at Smart but within a game is not the right place. Can't let the team down. But I also disagree with Smart's comments that players simply need to go along with the program. What program? A losing program? An incompetent program? Think the best players in the league or guys wanting to win would go along with this? It's why I wouldn't mind at all Reke/Cuz going to Smart/Petrie and giving them a piece of their minds. Bring their agents along too. But do it correctly. Can't screw your teammates over during a game.

“Sacramento is where I want to be,’’ he said. “I want to bring the organization back, help the organization get started back winning. I love the city of Sacramento. That’s where I want to be. End of story. “We can dig a hole, throw that topic in there, cover it with dirt, pack it down. I want to be in Sacramento. End of story.’’ -DeMarcus Cousins

Our franchise literally is about to rise from the ashes.

I agree with you rainmaker, nice post. Except for the part about being up at 4am to watch that crap ...

They shot a lower percentage because back in those days you could actually grab, push, shove, put both hands on the player while playing defense, etc. Stern has turned the league into an offensive league by taking away most of the weapons that the defense used to have. Back then, its was a man's league. Now its a league full of pampered prima donnas that get upset when someone blows on them too hard.

That makes sense. You have to give Stern some credit though. He's grown the NBA brand tremendously. People pay big money to see offense. They aren't into slug fests like it used to be.

Maybe Cuz needs to go on Charlie Sheen's new show as a patient!

Overall, considering no Tyreke and half a Cuz, not all that bad. Held Clips to 42% shooting and caused them 18 TO's both worsts in their win streak. Held their own for 3rd and 4th quarters without their 2 best payers. Jimmer again looking good and improved defense.

    can Honeycutt play now?

seeing what this young guy can do is really the only thing that will keep me interested in watching games with DMC and Reke not playing

Why is everybody so obsessed with Honeycutt? He's a 2nd round pick and didn't show a whole lot last year. Not sure why everybody thinks he has so much upside.

im not "high" on Honeycutt. im not claiming hes a potential star. im just saying why not give him a shot

    1. He averaged almost 10rbs per game in the D-League. lord knows we need some rebounding on this team

    2. exactly what SF on this team has proved to be worth playing at all? so why not throw Honeycutt at the 3 and see what he can do. the season is lost, give the young man a shot and see what we have in him?

    3. he also shot the 3 very well in summer league, that would be nice too.

    4. why bring him up from the D-League if were not gonna use him?
