An odd lineup is winning, why bother to nit pik? If it ain't broke don't fix it. The kids may finally be drinking the Smart Aide and playing like a team.

IT and Jimmer should get more DNP.

Both are big liabilities in defense.

I actually think IT should be gone, so we can never be too small on our back court. We don't need him to confuse coach Smart.

Evans and Brooks should regularly play PG with Thornton and Salmons as SG. These 4 guards should consume most of the 96 minutes of our guards playing time. We can also insert Jimmer at SG (from time to time or during garbage time).

Let Outlaw or Johnson take most of the minutes at SF no matter what, until such time both learn their role and find their rhythm.

problem with that argument is that Salmons was, on saturday night, the PG the Kings need. A leader, 11 assists, a stabilizing force on a team full of over energetic guards. He has never been a PG but saturday that is the function he fulfilled. Who cares what his title is? As to Brooks or IT and defense, the Kings won by 19! Can't be that bad!

IMHO Jimmer will be on of the starting guards next year. A separate argument.

Salmons can play PG too, especially if we'll be using Jimmer or Thornon at SG. And I would be very happy if he never again plays SF.

Bottom line is let's play full-sized or even big at every position.

Blazers are a lottery team because they are 6 players deep, and yesterday they had banged up Batum and lost Mattews, when game was basically even.

In regards to the topic the rotation will take care of itself soon enough with or without Smart.

To some extent the Kings have interchangable parts. It matters more how people play rather than who plays. The Kings drop off less when they go to their second team than most NBA teams. The forum likes to focus on who rather than what. Its not how, but how many.

If the Kings can get back on defense, push the ball and move without the ball they can win a lot more.

I agree with this. The Kings can overcome a lot of mistakes that their young team is prone to do (and even Smart is prone to do in his substitution pattern) if they do the above. But if they don't do the above, they have virtually no chance.
