Other intersting notes only 3 guards in the top 20, Evans, Westbrook and Speedy Claxton. Oh and Hickson is there at #8, C-Webb at 16.
So now we are going to have another year's discussion of Reke's jump shot? Really? His jump shot recently has been great and not one person who is critical of him had the decency to say his jump shot had improved. I am very bored about this subject as it tells me nothing new except that the dislike of Tyreke continues beyond the point where it may very well be that he has corrected the problem. I didn't say he HAS corrected the problem but he has been on fire recently. Did you notice or are these kinds off things blocked from your awareness?

It wasn't like I was looking for the info, it was right there on ESPN's NBA page.
Yes I know that it eliminated shots at the rim. If it didn't and was purely FG% it wouldn't go to show much of anything would it?

You are right. It would only show his fg%. In the last 5 games he has played, he has hit over 50% from 15-19 ft. Make of that what you wish.

My guess would be that the article was actually written and submitted a couple of weeks ago at least.

No, he's been LUCKY that his jumpshot has fallen. When you shoot in a flawed way and you're used to missing them then all of a sudden you put a few games together when it goes in then that's called a string of luck. Trust me, it will go back to being bad soon enough.

Because its FIVE GAMES. Small sample size. Statistics 101.

BTW, how had his shot looked tonight?

Could you manage to do a bit of snark reduction? Thanks ever so...

As far as Reke's shot tonight goes, it's his first game back. I fully suspect it to take a while for him to get back in stride.

What a surprise, one half of play and Gary is back to bashing Reke. Who woulda thought?

“Sacramento is where I want to be,’’ he said. “I want to bring the organization back, help the organization get started back winning. I love the city of Sacramento. That’s where I want to be. End of story. “We can dig a hole, throw that topic in there, cover it with dirt, pack it down. I want to be in Sacramento. End of story.’’ -DeMarcus Cousins

    Uh huh....

I actually bet you were pissed when he hit those 3's. Weren't you?

    BTW, I don't trust you.

the hitch in peja stojakovic's jumpshot sends its regards. as does shawn marion's form...

seriously, could you be any more transparent about your distaste for tyreke evans outside of the realm of basketball reality? his two three's at the end of tonight's game looked rather textbook, smooth, and without flaw to me. but trust you? it will go back to being bad soon enough? i mean, what is this, your personal anti-cheer campaign, where evans' failure represents some kind of victory? gross...

Very good at the end of the game although that's a very small sample size as was your attempt at making one game mean anything. He was injured and missed two games; remember? In this game he had 23 points and he took over at the end of the game. I'm not complaining.

It is weird how he actively roots against him, repeatedly, and not once has even acknowledged Reke having a good game. As in ever. Doesn't even have to like him, but just zero acknowledgement of anything Reke has ever improved on. It always must be luck. I don't even root against opponents like that.

Kidding is one thing. Taking things to the extent that they become personal attacks against other board members is not allowed.

Don't look now, but Tyreke is shooting 35% from the three point line over his last 10 games. That's not elite, but it's well within respectable territory.
    Defense matters.

What you might think was funny stepped over a line. We moderators are here for a reason. We try not to be too intrusive but we've been at it a very long time. If you want to discuss it further, we'll do so in PMs. Thanks.

Also much better than 35% over the last 5-6 games
