The Smart offense: leave your starters out until the other team gets hot.

All the Kings continue just stand like statues everytime Cuz get the ball and then he forces something. What's up with that? If just one of them cut they'd probably get ball from the excellent passing Cuz or able to screen for him. Not good.

Evans is playing great since he started using the mouth guard. Just saying.

Cousins still looks bad, which is nahhht good.

Is it me or does it seem like Tyreke is starting to "get it"?

Yeah, we're better with Reke out there. If that means I have a ridiculous love affair with the guy, so be it.

He needs more minutes and Smart killed our momentum by riding the bench too long, pandering to the Utah crowd, and not going back to the Brooks/Reke/Cuz trio far earlier.

We're not running any kind of an offense btw.

End of story. “We can dig a hole, throw that topic in there, cover it with dirt, pack it down. I want to be in Sacramento. End of story.’’ -DeMarcus Cousins

He is definitely getting better. Has been consistently getting people open looks. When he is in the team has been running the best.

The thing that stands out the most is he's playing under control. He's been playing like this for the past 2 weeks.

    problems:

    Thornton can't guard Hayward
    TRob can't guard Favors
the only offense Jimmer knows how to run is the one to get himself a shot
I think Reke/Brooks is almost TOO potent right now, as with all the shots coming from the backcourt, Cuz is getting frozen out and I think its reflected in his passion level plummeting on the court. Some guys need shots to stay involved, he's definitely one of them.

A definite concern. For some reason, neither Westphal nor Smart have shown the ability to get Cousins and Evans to play well at the same time.

It's the whole starting lineup, but we knew that going in ... just too many shot takers. With Salmons, and now JT taking more shots because he has been so effectice ... Cousins is really forcing.

But I don't want to mess with it, because this is the best Evans has looked since his rookie year. He's finally getting his game back.

If Evans can continue to hit that jumper, I'd consider putting Johnson back in the starting lineup, just to take a shooter off the floor.

I don't like how Johnson has played so far. Taking far too many bad shots and really kills the movement. If he would just play defense and rebound I wouldn't mind seeing him back in the starting line up though.

How about Chuck for JT? We'd actually have a backup center then too.

I think that would help a lot. The Chuck + Robinson bench puts the players in a pretty tough spot.

We've been saying it, everybody's been saying it. If Reke ever gets a consistent outside shot - he's completely unstoppable! Plus, he'll be making everyone else better - like that assist to Brooks.

I don't know whether you can play Hayes and Cousins, but I wouldn't be averse to finding out.
