good idea in my opinion, get the kid some experience and playing time if he's not gonna see any court time here

Isn't this like the 3rd time we've sent him?
Actually, he has a decent jumpshot. He shot around 36% from the three at UCLA. His biggest problem is his lack of strength, and apparently every time he tries to put on weight, his small frame has difficulty supporting it. He was a very good defensive player in college, averaging 2 blocked shots a game on year. But around the basket he gets pushed around, and it will only be worse in the NBA.
His deal now is that he has to prove he's capable of playing in the NBA, and everytime he gets ready to do that, he reinjures himself. He's an extremely good athlete. He just needs to stay healthy.
Its hard to have a battle of wits with an unarmed person.
Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard.
He was on the bench last night. I assume Salmons wasn't ready yet so he stayed another game.

^i read that he was eligible to play last night and would be reporting to Reno friday, i dont think the Salmons thing was part of it
Here's Tyler's most recent game in the D-League, struggled by all accounts 1-7 from the field and 5TO.
