Welcome Home Mayor Kevin Johnson

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson flew to Houston, Texas, this past weekend to meet with key NBA officials. The purpose of his visit during NBA All Star Game weekend was to lobby to keep our Sacramento Kings from relocating to Seattle.


Mayor Johnson returns home to Sacramento and Crown Downtown will organize a welcome home party. This will be the fourth time we have organized this event.


Mayor Johnson will arrive in Sacramento at 11:38 am at Gate 17 through United Airlines. Please arrive as early as 11:00 am.


It is our way as a community to thank Mayor Johnson for fighting for what it is ours, for being our voice and everything else that is #BiggerThanBasketball. Let us welcome home our mayor, who truly is the #BestInTheWorld.

Sacramento Mayor Kevin Johnson flew back from Houston and arrived home earlier this morning.

Members of our community through Crown Downtown welcomed home Mayor Johnson.

Over 60 pictures were taken and a video on Mayor Johnson’s story on receiving a gift from Crown Downtown.

Our next event will be at Sacramento City Hall tomorrow night. The meeting begins at 6:00pm but please arrive as early as 5:00pm.
