It isn't a sad day until the Kings are actually moving. Keep the faith, folks, and spend money at STA on the Kings until it' really time to mourn.

I thought there was supposed to be some press conference in Seattle this morning?

That was posted in error, as the press conference was held yesterday. The person who posted the info didn't notice that it was stale.

it didnt end up being too bad YET. IF there is a day where the Kings end up being sold to Seattle or another town, then it will be the worst day

BULL ****. It's always a "choice" to be spiteful. And it doesn't even take indisputable evidence to see what is going on here. Add in the news that they'll never negotiate with Burkle and the spiteful picture is quite clear to anyone that wants to take a look.

And no, you're wrong again. The Maloofs do have to do something - they have to listen very carefully to what the NBA tells them to do. As a franchisee, the Maloofs only have as much discretion as the NBA allows them to have.

A huge loud turnout for just a few weeks is allIi ask. There are only 9 home games between now and when they would have to file. 9 games! Fill the damn place up and be loud and you might actually influence events. You could actually save your own team, not for a season, but for decades. And then we wouldn't have to worry about this crap anymore.

These could be your last 9 games of thinking of this team as your own. Make them count. Its your last best argument for keeping your team. Its also your last best moment to argue for ever getting another one. If you let Seattle just stroll off with your team, the place WILL be a tomb after Mar 1st. Eveything will be lost then. Its not lost yet. Get out there now. Bring some friends. Make the Maloofs look like utter fools for all the world. Its not their team. It never was. Its yours.
    THIS!!!!

Stay united guys and keep the Kings!!! Now is the time to rise as one and beat the clowns at their own game. This is all coming to an end and you guys still have control over the ending of this saga! Give KJ and Sacramento more pull but doing what you have done for 19 out of the 27 season....SELL OUT THE PLACE!!!!
Jim Capers once called a foul on me while I was sitting on the bench. Tweet! "Foul, number fifty-three! Five-three!" Everybody was confused and looking around for number 53, so I stood up and said, "I'm over here and the only thing I'm fouling is the water bottle." - Darryl Dawkins

D*mn right its our team and I'm going to keep fighting to keep the Kings right here. Nothing is final yet. KJ isn't giving up. We need to stand as a huge block of fans so everyone who watches the NBA on TV will see that we are undoubtedly some of the finest fans there are or have ever been. We need to be present, we need to be loud!

We are fighting an injustice. We are fighting for our city. We are fighting to get a new arena for the 250+ events every year. We are fighting for the jobs of all who work at the arena. We are fighting to keep the NBA and their school reading, nutrition and exercise programs right here. We are fighting for those kids at the Shriners hospital to have Kings players visit them every year. We are fighting for the families and children that get food, clothing, Thanksgiving and Christmas every year, in because of the team. We are fighting for the jobs that will come with building a new arena and all the companies who will provide construction materials and their employees. We are fighting for the Sacramento Kings, our team, our joy, part of what binds us to family friends and even to people we don't know. This city has bled purple for 27 years. I will bleed more fighting to save our Kings. This is it. Make no mistake. We are almost surely down to the final battle. Lets stand together, stand tall, stand proud and roar our fidelity.
PROUD OF SACRAMENTO. PROUD TO BE A KINGS FAN.
