    Trailblazers @ Kings - 12/23/12

There's enough discussion of DMC in other threads so hopefully this one can be about the game itself and everyone on the team not named Cousins.

There have been rumors and rumbles but the real proof of how the team deals with this latest blow will be on display for every armchair point guard to see for themselves.

Once, now and forever ... GO KINGS!!!

I wonder who will start tonight. Hayes, Robinson or. Outlaw? This time it isn't a temporary fix. We will surely see more. Of Robinson and Johnson.

Very excited to see Trob get a real opportunity to play. Hopefully, we see him getting 25+ minutes a game now

First time since 1990 and having season tickets I really don't want to go to the game.

I do understand but I would love to see this different team with different motivation playing tonight. They may get blown out but not for the lack fire and effort.

T-Rob better get the start. you invested a 5th pick in the guy. if Smart starts Outlaw over T-Rob im not even going to watch the game

    When's Cousins coming back?

But as far as this game hopefully Reke plays and yeah if TRob does not get a start he should scream at Smart Cousins style

What part of "indefinite" confuses you?

    predictions:
in the absence of Cuz/Reke, Smart makes the rotations much worse than they need to be.

    Lillard will score 34 points.
Aldridge will kill whoever is defending him
we will get heavily out rebounded.
Thornton will lead the Kings in scoring

    Ladies and Gentlemen,

    Your 2013-2014 Sacramento Kings!
I appreciate a good math pun - as long as it isn't too graphic.

I reckon Chuck starts and plays some solid D on Aldridge.

    JT
    Chuck
    Salmons
    Thornton
    Brooks

Oh and we get our asses kicked in this one which hopefully leads to Smart getting sacked.
Jim Capers once called a foul on me while I was sitting on the bench. Tweet! "Foul, number fifty-three! Five-three!" Everybody was confused and looking around for number 53, so I stood up and said, "I'm over here and the only thing I'm fouling is the water bottle." - Darryl Dawkins

I would love to see the team not play with any effort at all and just throw in the towel on Keith Smart. Get him fired, get Cousins back on the right track and let's start building for the future.

On our hopes for the game? Gotta love this quote from James Johnson.

"We need our guard play to be spectacular like it was. Aaron Brooks put on a phenomenal show. Isaiah did shut down (Damian) Lillard, made him look like a rookie. And I think that’s what we’re going to need. It starts with them two guys…and then everybody else is going to have to follow. They got big guys who can rebound. We got guys like Travis Outlaw who’s ready to come off and jump higher than anybody I (know)."

    So no Reke again?

I'm telling you, he's not gonna play till Smart is fired or at very least Cuz is back. Or so I fantasize.

Lol. Well, I rather him coming back fully healed than playing on one leg. We seriously need him.

Did James Johnson actually just pass the ball to the perimeter after an offensive rebound?!?!?!?! INCREDIBLE.
