Worth noting:

1) Mike Bibby is unsigned but apparently looking for another shot in the NBA. He cannot play anymore, but could have value as the ultimate old King/vet type guy, who knows his role, spots up and hits threes, and talks to the young guys about what it takes to win etc. Played on winning teams next to Doug Christie, Dwayne Wade and Joe Johnson. Makes him a natural to know how to play next to Reke. He's probably hoping some contending team will bite, but that seems unlikely, and we have the hometown/familiarity thing going including former backcourtmate BJax as a coach. However only a consideration I would think if we clear out one of the IT/Jimmer/Brooks trio.

2) Samuel Dalembert is not happy (again) and out of favor in Milwaulkee. They have so many shotblockers there, that I could see him being expendable even if he is their only legit center. We could desperately use him back if he hasn't started sliding (he notoriously gets off to slow starts because he never comes into camp in shape). But there too, if we had him it would mean the minutes of one of JT/Hayes/TRob, and would make the most sense if one of them were traded (not necessarily for Daly).

Bibby doesn't make any sense to me.

Dalembert could be a useful piece, but I wonder what kind of moves we'd have to make to justify it. I suppose we could simply look at our empty roster spot, the fact we only have four big men to start with, and that T-Rob isn't really ready and decide to plow forward with a Cuz/JT/Hayes/Dally rotation, leaving T-Rob on the bench for the most part. Seems like a waste, but 1) you don't dump Cuz, 2) you don't dump a long-term JT for one year of Dally, 3) You don't give up on T-Rob for one year of Dally, and 4) Hayes is one of the few playing well right now, hate to just ship him off. If we can find true value (e.g. a healthy Granger) for a deal including one or more of those guys, that's a different story.

Also, I'm not sure what Milwaukee would be asking. We'd gladly send Outlaw or Garcia, but why do they bite on that? Much as it pains me to say it, I'd hate to send off either Salmons or JJ without a trade on the table to bring another SF back. We're just too thin there and I'd like to trot out as few minutes of the classic Smart 3-guard lineup as possible. (Also, why would Milwaukee want Salmons back?) Thornton/Evans are non-starters in a Dally deal. Which pretty much leaves PG. Something like Garcia and IT for Dally might work out well for us, but do the Bucks do that for insurance on Udrih? I'm not sure.

I think the only way to trade with MIL would be in a 3+ team deal.

Would Bibby want to return to the Kings? He can still shoot and would be a good mentor. I found this quote from Bibby:

"I still think I have a chance to get a ring," Bibby said. "I can give a team good minutes still. There's still a chance for me to go out there and get that championship."

Dalembert would be great. I wish he never left. He is a great complement to Cousins since he can defend the PF's.

Changes are needed and either of these guys would be good veterans to have on the Kings. Dally would contribute more on the floor. Bibby might make a few 3's and provide leadership.

Mike is looking for a ring, but when the phones not ringing i guess you jump at any opportunity.

That said i don't see that happening at all.

Would never say no to having Sam D back. Lets face it we need to do something....
