He just got waived by Memphis and can provide some back-up minutes at the PF position. Plays really hard, rebounds and can play D. Gives you nothing on the offensive end but can set screens and grabs offensive boards.

Yeah, somebody posted that over in the Waivers thread in the main forum. I wouldn't mind seeing him as big man #5 at all.

Me neither, he would be a solid back up. Question is whether the Kings are interested. I hope that they are.

but it would be kinda hard splitting minutes between a up and coming songilia and a declining bo outlaw

It wouldn't be a matter of splitting minutes. We only have four big guys on the team; we're screwed if someone goes down (and you KNOW it'll happen). It would be nice to have a vet like Outlaw available for emergency service, if we could just get Peja to pinch-shoot free throws for him.

Just so I'm clear... does Outlaw play any SF or is he strictly a PF?

he'd be a good pickup. tough on D, rebounds & hustles like havoc & can block a couple of shots & challenges anyone who dares come in the shaded lane. he can play SF but would get beaten off the dribble a lot. primarily a PF

i think he fits in with all the things that we're lacking (and in need of)... I love his attitude and competitivess... and maybe his toughness and hustle will rub off on the rest of our team ^^
