i think the 49ers will run circles around the bears tomorrow. what else can you expect with a bears defense that couldn't stop a parked car. but in order for this to happen, tim rattay is going to need another good game because the 49ers running game simply won't get it done by itself.

Tim Rattay may not even play. He has a sore right arm...

well then ken dorsey needs to step it up
Bears were up 7-0 with 1st and goal at the 10. Not only did they not score, but the 9ers recovered a fumble (that they caused) and ran it back for a touchdown. Tie game 7-7 until the 49ers just got a FG and lead now by 3.

13-10 49ers
Now tied at 13.
#1. Without a doubt, the 49ers really stink this year.
#2. The 49ers got ripped on 2 major calls in Chicago.

Well the 49ers pull ahead in the battle for worst team in the NFL tonight. :) Defense played well, but we are just missing too many people and don't have enough talent to begin with--especially that offensive line. Dorsey looked pretty bad, but the line couldn't even buy him two seconds!
Shoulda been closer (thanks to the D) but those two bizarre replay calls that had the guys in the booth scratching their heads sealed the deal.
Actually a lot of things sealed the deal. :) At least I can laugh about it...
As long as John York is owner of the team, we can expect more of this in the future. The man is totally bereft of anything resembling football acumen. He has killed the 49ers - and they are back to the point they were at when I used to be the ONLY one picking them to win in the weekly "pick winners" office pool.
Our injuries have been catastrophic, but it's not just injuries. There is no life to the team at all. It's been sucked out with the giant Hoover vacuum of apathy and disrespect John York continues to show for the franchise.

And the Yorks turned down Larry Ellison. We could have had a freaking billionaire as the owner of this team! :(
Owners who try and turn a profit suck. :)
If he even liked football, it would be different. He's only the owner of the team because he's married to Denise DeBartolo. I would much rather see Eddie D back. What's a little alleged money laundering anyway?
