NOTE: My wife and I are expecting our first child in a week and a half AND we have to move to a new place at the end of October. So...I will do what I can to keep things up and running. This is the definition by Yahoo about this feature. If you can remember back to last year's league...we had this exact thing happen to us...and it screwed some of us over. I, as the commish, can veto any trade and am open to do so if the members of the league can present a case...however, I'm not sure that we should have a "NO CUT" policy, because some might want to make some "blockbuster" deals at certain times of the year. I'll post this on the league page as well. Get back to me with your responses...

I don't think this pertains to trades.

It means that people can't go to the open player list and acquire a nobody and drop a key player, if I understand it correctly. I'm getting that because it specifically says "NO CUT" and not "NO TRADE."

If trades are involved, the premiere player wouldn't be going to waivers.

Either way is okay with me, BTW. I would like to think all the people who have signed up for this league are in it for the fun of competing with fellow Kings fans. If they mess it up, they would never be invited again.

Oh, I definitely agree with the concept; that happened in my league (fWo) as well, and I wished I could catch that guy and skin him alive... I was just saying that it wasn't available last year, or I would have picked it for my league.

The only thing about the "can't cut list," which bigdog alluded to, is that although it will stop people from just waiving their star players to throw the league off-balance, it will not prevent people from making lopsided trades (eg, Iverson/Bibby for Cheaney/George... bigdog knows what I'm talking about).

Yes. Last I heard, Slim expects to return to port on Tues or Wed. Of course, it is entirely up to the United States Navy. ;)

I do have one comment in terms of feedback... and this is a problem I had with your league last year; there shouldn't be an even number of stat categories. This led to the same type of situation as last year, when I ended up winning the championship on a tie-breaker. There really should be an odd number of categories, so that you get clear winners each week... because tie-breakers stink.

It will only go to auto-draft if bigdog makes it so; if a manager isn't present for a live draft, his team will be drafted according to Yahoo's rankings (unless he has his own pre-draft).

What works for me? Well, I have duty tomorrow, a tiger cruise on Saturday, and duty again next Saturday... So basically, any day other than tomorrow, Saturday, and next Saturday works for me, as long as it's after working hours...

The great thing about 3 of my SFs, is that they can play a PF, or F position. I don't think I'll have problems with them..Well Ron at least. I'm keeping him for some defense on my team. What I tried to do on my team is to balance out a team that have some good numbers in each category. Like Stephen, Peja and Melo for scoring, Ron, Cliff, and Nene for Defense, Lue, & both Jacksons for assists and steals.
