I think that we should win this one. The Wizards are also coming off a hard-fought victory over the Warriors.

Kings by 7, not covering the point spread.

I watched Washington eek that one out last night against the Warriors. It was just the Warriors, but they showed some good clutch execution. Hughes and Arenas just took over the game. I was really impressed with Hughes in crunch time. I'll be at this game tonight so I hope we win. We need these next two games bad! GO KINGS!

I saw this game last night too...mostly second half though. It was a good game to watch and Wizards did a good job to win. Wizard is a very good rebounding team especially on the offensive glass. So don't be surprise if the Kings get outrebound badly (which is usually most times ;)). But I also notice that Wizard isn't a good free throw shooting team. ;) Hehe.

Have fun at the game, KP. GO KINGS!!!

Well, it will be a good one. Both teams have their advantages it the team which plays their game will win. Kings have a better front court, more talent. We play at home and it is a WASH 4 game in 5 nights. I watched them beating LAL :D and a little last night ( watching LAL lose to Grizzlies was more fun). They definitely have a better back court than we do. Also the are good offensive rebounding team. They are more athletic than we are but then again who isn't ? We have to play well for 48 minutes to win this one.
Assuming Webber will play - he will be the key. We have to move ball well tonight. Bibby will get killed by their guard defensively. Lot's of help defense will be needed tonight. Hopefully, Tag will get decent playing time tonight. He is the only one who can stop their penetration. They suck at FTs and thus we should not give them lay ups.
Webber & Arenas could end up having tripple double. We have beaten them 6 times in a row at home (since Webber trade) but this is the best team that they put together in a while.
It would be a solid win for us and a great one for them.

Watch out Kings, this team likes to drive to the basket. If we get killed in the beginning they better put in Tag. I don't care if we score 40 in the first quarter if the Wiz score 39 its unacceptable. NO LAYUP DRILLS TONGHT PLEASE!!!

he is not really guarding anyone

rebounding starting slow against one of the best offensive rebounding teams. not a good sign.

too many turnovers from both teams in the first quarter as well.

is Peja just not involved in the offense, or are the rest of the kings just not looking for him? I wouldn't think Jeffries or Jamison can guard him...nice three, btw.

Pedja got 8 pts in 1st Qtr... 3/3 from the FG. 2/2 from 3 pts! :) So far, the team is shooting at 70%! GO KINGS!

Kings' shooting is much improved, and Peja has come alive in this second quarter.

Pedja should have a touch every time down the floor when he is this hot. It is frustrating because he is not getting that.

VF21
12-21-2004, 08:47 PM
I disagree, Heuge. They're playing excellent ball right now. Waiting for the open man; moving the ball; etc. He's getting his touches but they're not forcing him to take all the responsibility or the shots. This is TEAM ball, IMHO, and I'm loving it.

:D

I think there are times to be selfish. When you are white hot as Pedja was you got to give him the ball.

Hard to not like that half. Some unnecessary turnovers again, but otherwise excellent balance, good passing, solid boardwork. Good half for us.

The abundance of turnovers in the last few games is alarming. Good thing it was just the Wizzards.

Webber took open jumpers. He should take those shots, just like Pedja should keep taking the shots he missed.

I cannot believe how far some people will go to find something to criticize about Webber.

he had the flu in the last game and still threw it down. he's probably still recovering from that. poor thing. :(

I agree about the turnovers. Luckily, the Wizards were having as much trouble with the spheroid as the Kings. Turnovers aside, I think they handled the ball much better than they have been lately and I only screamed at the TV about quick pull-up shots once or twice, which is a definite improvement!

Biiby said something about Jackson wearing a shirt that was too tight tonight. Maybe Evanstar (the Gettyimages person) has a good picture of Bobby tonight. I'd like to see what Bibby was talking about.

I thought Webber had a good game!!
