Couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. :p

BTW, ever since my years in school in Philly I've had a soft spot for the Eagles, although it might be a misnomer to actually call me a true fan. But to get it done with Owens a part of it was going to be pretty noxious.

Also saves us from having to see Andy Reid in tights.

Philly sports teams have such bad luck I root for them on every occasion.
I wonder if ESPN will cut that commercial with TO for their video games.

I was pretty bummed to hear about this. I love TO, and have caught just about every game of theirs this year. He adds so much fun to the game. I wish him a speedy recovery, and I really hope this doesn't impact his long-term career.

It's obviously too soon to have a real sense of how this will affect his overall ability, when he returns.

I became a football watcher this year, so since I thought the Eagles were ok, this made me feel bad for them too.

I kinda feel like they are like the Kings in the past few years, kinda close every year, injuries to key personnel and such, but just haven't been able to get it done yet. I hope Mr. Owens is able to get well soon, no matter how (un)likely it might be.

There goes my fantasy team. Well, I guess I have to replace him with either Corey Bradford or Brandon Lloyd :(

Uhhh, with or without T.O., the Eagles would've choked in the playoffs anyway.

My cousin works at the hospital Terrell Owens is getting his surgery at. He said when he got their early in the morning a bunch of people were at the front of the hospital wearing Raven jerseys. He's going to see him tomorrow. I told him to get a picture of him, and if he does, I'll upload it and post it.

The funny thing is you can see the hospital from my cousin's place when you look out at window or balcony. I remember seeing it when I went to Baltimore this past Thanksgiving.

I liked Terrell Owens, Sharpie pen, cell phone and all...

I wish him a speedy recovery.

I think the cell phone was Joe Horn. Or did TO have a cell phone celebration too...

Whatever, I loved his creative celebrations. Made the game interesting.

I dont know if this was TO, but last season he put a cell phone under the big yellow post thingie, and he told his teammate whenever he got a touchdown to help him pull of the post so he can call his mom on his cell phone!!!:p

i heard the surgeon was the one who did i think the first and 2nd surgery on grant hill's ankle, and we all know how those turned out.....

the eagles would have choked with him. they always do. they could have made it to the show, but would have choked there. atlanta might go to the stupid bowl now who knows.

That was Joe Horn of the New Orleans Saints.

Have I mentioned before how much this just breaks my little ole heart?

Since we've had discussions before about the relative merits of wishing someone hurt, I guess I'll just settle instead for wishing him a slow and painful recovery. :p

Sucks for the Eagles, although now I can root for them with a clean conscience again. Maybe even moreso since if they were to win it all it would silence any "but if we had T.O." talk and even establish in their minds that they can do it without him in the future.

I've come to like TO in the past year, and I would still like to see the Eagles in the Super Bowl for that all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl.

Woo hoo!!!! Go Steelers!!!:D
