Play-in games discussion

I don’t think we have a chance in hell if Zion is healthy. Regardless of the future outcome, I think this Warriors win was the highlight of the year and redeemed a disappointing season for me.

Pelicans are an extremely tough draw and I won’t be upset at all if we lose. Lots to be proud of with the win from tonight

I have e poetry final of the season :
We beat GS after buzzing beater (that will be for sure how the game will end …)
Then we finally manage to beat the Pels in front of they own crowd for first time in 6 games (and for surprise of the whole forum here will be with 15+)
- First round is clear OKC will burn out and loose both fist home games , they will take game 3 and 5 but we will finish them in 6 at home ….
- here is the tricky one though , cause we have to beat Dallas who are in form, but in game 2 (where they took a 2/0 lead ) Doncic hurts his leg and is out for next 3 games , of course we take them all.
Then I Kings style drama where we loose 21 points advantage because of a “heroic” play of not fully recovered Doncic , just too see his team losing by one point after some crazy long 3 style Doncic , made by Monk …
Final conference is easy 4/3 against LA …. Only cause refs will give them enough FT to finally took us several games ….
Then fhe title game ….
Well we loose to Boston in five …
All else will be fiction :p
So far so good , first plan of the plan is done , not so dramaticly as planned , but even better . We go for step 2 now (looks the most difficult one haha )

Not sure if this is the thread to discuss the Eastern conference play-in games but the Heat are Heating and Joel Embiid is looking like post-knee C-Webb in the worst way possible.

Sixers somehow only down five. Also Play-In Buddy looks an awful lot like Kings Buddy

Hitting on Jaime Jaquez almost enough to forgive Pat Riley for giving Duncan Robinson and Tyler Herro a combined 250 million dollars or so to not play defense and just sorta suck on offense over a half decade period.

Bulls from team that has put everybody on the market in Febrauary are going to be a playoff team ? :)
Good for them that they did not sell anybody at the end ...

Last season that the Heat made it all the way to the NBA Finals were close to be eliminated in the play in when facing the Bulls, were down most of the time, but the Bulls had a meltdown at the end and lost. Could be interesting to see if things will be different this year with the two of them facing again each other (unless Bulls pull a "Kings/Kangz" ) and lose that 20 point lead in the remaining minutes.

The East is so uninteresting omg it's like watching paint dry
I mean, I wouldn't necessarily go THAT FAR in degrading the East, but...

The rest of the field should just forfeit and save themselves the embarrassment of potentially getting spanked by Boston...I literally see ZERO competition for the Celtics on that side of the bracket.

Honestly seeing the whole season I will be very surprised if they don’t win that title ….

The Kings may be able to benefit from the Miami Heat missing the playoffs...... If both the Kings and Heat lose in the Play-In and miss the playoffs, there will be a 3 way tie (Kings, GSW, and Heat) for the #12, 13 and 14th picks in the draft, so a coin flip will break the draft position tie.

So the Kings could possibly move up to #12 in the draft, which would be better than picking #14 in a weak draft.

ideally, the Kings won’t be picking at all.
